Hubbard House seeks an experienced Director of Development to achieve the agency's fundraising and objectives.
The Director of Development will identify and cultivate relationships with prospective donors.
They will work with staff leadership, board members, and the development team to execute fundraising initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, at least five years of experience with donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship, and at least one year of supervisory experience.
Major gift, planned giving, and/or campaign experience preferred.
They will have experience in fundraising best practices and with donor databases, preferably The Raiser's Edge, in managing donor and solicitation records.
The position requires a clear communicator, both verbal and written and someone with high standards around work ethic, collaboration, organization, and detail.
Hubbard House was founded as the first domestic violence shelter in Florida and is the certified domestic violence center serving Duval and Baker counties in Northeast Florida.
Hubbard House has nearly 50 years of experience serving victims of domestic violence through residential and outreach programs.
Hubbard House has an annual operating budget of $7.
9 million and a healthy endowment.
Annually, Hubbard House serves approximately 5,000 women, children, and men.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
