We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant or a Registered Medical Assistant for a physician s office in the Jacksonville Beach, FL area.
Schedule/Shift: Monday Friday 8a-5p

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and a medical assistant diploma from an accredited vocational institution.
Must be a certified or registered medical assistant (CMA (NCCT) or RMA)
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Experience
A minimum of two years of recent experience working as a certified medical assistant in a physician s office
Sports Medicine experience/ortho experience is a PLUS! Previous primary care expeience is also good - experience with splinting/casting/ect.

Job Requirements:
Greeting and Rooming patients
Preparing Patients for their visits by providing gowns and drapes, arranging examination room instruments, taking vital signs, verifying and documenting Patient's history by interviewing Patient and entering information into their chart
Assisting Providers during examination
Educating Patients by providing pre and post procedure information and brochures (orthopedics)
Entering and recording clinical information in the chart on behalf of the Provider (EMR - GE Centricity)
Providing post procedure information, following up with Patients via telephone
